BMW - THE SMALL ESCAPE.

1964. Berlin is a divided city. The DDR border guards had been subject to shooting orders in cases of illegal border crossing. In this fantasic commerical for BMW we jumped back in time and rebuild divided Berlin. The most inconspicuous car available at the time, the BMW Isetta, was reconstructed to help smuggle people across the border into the West.

We created several 3D set extensions, mattepaintings and did lots of retouch. Thanks to director Alex Feil and Tempomedia for getting us on board on this historical commercial. A big thanks goes to our team and all artists who were involved in it, you rock!
